when you hear that you or your child has cancer, you feel like you just received a death sentence.
and you don't even hear the rest - 95% survival; 4-10 months of quimotherapy, and then back to a normal life...
and i think of how many people don't get a 95% chance.
and i think of how many people spend a year in the hospital because of an accident or disease.
and how many people have lifetime disabilities, which started at birth or from accidents or from disease...
and how many people have lifetime disabilities, which started at birth or from accidents or from disease...
and how many people have children with lifetime disabilities, which started at birth or from accidents or from disease...
