two months since we first took ilan to the hospital to examine the swollen gland on his neck. 
that's when they said that he needs to have an operation urgently, to have the gland removed and checked for cancer.

since then it is a marathon. since then we are in 'emergency mode'...

days spent visiting doctors, days in the hospital for exams, ilan's operation...

we spend our time going to doctors with ilan, or going alone, or making phone calls to arrange appointments or to receive the results of tests...

where is the button to change the 'mode'?
